Austin FC has made a significant update to its coaching staff by announcing the addition of Terry Boss as an assistant coach. Boss will serve in this role through the end of the 2026 season, bringing valuable experience back to the club. He previously held the same position with Austin FC in 2023 and 2024, contributing to the team's development during that time. In 2025, Boss was the head coach of USL Championship side Lexington SC, where he honed his skills further. Before his time in Austin, he was the men's soccer Head Coach at Oregon State University, where he achieved notable success, including earning Pac-12 Coach of the Year honors twice and leading his team to a No. 1 national ranking in 2021. Boss also has experience as an Assistant Coach/Goalkeeper Coach for the United States Men’s National Team in 2019, showcasing his extensive background in coaching at various levels. Additionally, the club has announced that Nico Bosch is no longer part of the coaching staff after serving as an assistant coach since January 2025. This change marks a new chapter for Austin FC as they look to strengthen their coaching team ahead of the upcoming seasons.
